"Orgos" is a word I made up, but calling to mind other words that seem appropriate and familiar, such as Organic, Origin, and Omphalos, the last meaning Earth's navel, from the Greek mythos of the round stone that marked the center of the earth, located by the Temple of Apollo at Delphi.  I think the roundness of the weaving lends itself to that same type of entrance or gate that leads down to the center of the earth--Dante's gateway to Inferno, but in this case, you need not "abandon hope."


1st Premise: Everything is Connected.


Speaking of Delphi, "Orgos" also alludes to the "Oracle of Delphi" which brings us back to the "utterance" mentioned on the DES Uterus Flag page, specifically in connection to the uterus.  Perhaps "Orgos" represents the origin of utterance.


We'll leave the "Or-Gate" for another discussion.
